What did you find helpful about your therapeutic coaching sessions?

The opportunity to reflect in the first instance: pausing life, taking the time to delve into thoughts, feelings, emotions and past events that had been repressed and being given a different perspective on them. The tools were also useful in doing this.

 What have been the changes in your life since you started working with your coach?

I have made several positive re-evaluations of images and perceptions of myself that had been developed over many years. This has led to an increased confidence in me now, and a desire to learn more, push existing boundaries and explore new ones.
Would you recommend your coach to others?

Absolutely. And I have.
David,  Senior Manager Financial Services

What did you find helpful about your therapeutic coaching sessions?

The time solely for me, to work on me being the best me, as a Mum, employee and partner etc.  I came with one specific thing but learned so much about myself I hadn't realised,  and also how much I can do to improve my happiness and wellbeing.

What have been the changes in your life since you started working with your coach?

I see myself and my life much clearer. I feel much calmer, more resourceful and have so many tools I can use myself now when I am feeling anxious or overwhelmed or stressed to help me.

I realise it is ok to have my own needs and that by managing my wellbeing, health and life better, I am also giving my children permission to value themselves. My boundaries are so much better and I know what is and isn't my responsibility now which I really struggled with before as I am such a pleaser. I feel like I am in my life now enjoying it, rather than just surviving it day to day.

Would you recommend your coach to others?

Yes definitely. It felt so unjudgmental and a really safe space to explore me and my life! I am going to have regular check ins to maintain all the benefits I have found from it. I would recommend Mags to anyone.

Sarah, NHS Professional and Mum

What did you find helpful about your therapeutic coaching sessions?

I chose the coaching aspect to begin with,  although in the  end I valued Mags using both in our work. I knew I wanted to make changes in my life, but I didn't know how to get there or even where to start.

But the structured approach Mags used looking at my Life Wheel (which I still refer to and update regularly) and then my values and aspirations, was so helpful in identifying where to start, what to work on first and what the barriers were. I couldn't believe how much progress I made in a short time and how much more confident and competent I feel in working toward goals and making positive changes. Its been transformational for me.

What have been the changes in your life since you started working with your coach?

I know who I am and what I want, am much clearer and intentional about where I am going, who I am, how I spend my time. I picked 2 segments of the Life Wheel to work on as Mags suggested, but when we reviewed my progress each month, it was amazing how it had a knock on effect on the other areas we weren't even working on. I feel I have the tools to do this myself now, and also to come back if I feel stuck or want a trusted, neutral voice to ask me the great questions that really clarify what I want from life, and also to believe in me and champion me . I didn't expect the other benefits of the tools such as the tapping and STOP - so simple, yet so helpful and quick to use myself. I trust my instincts more and pay attention to what my body is saying.

Would you recommend your coach to others?

Oh yes definitely. Mags' wisdom and non judgemental approach was so helpful. I trusted her with things I have never told anyone.

Katie, full time working mum

Oh

I have spent over three decades as a professional woman, working at senior management levels transforming public services and organisations across the private, public and charity sectors.

I understand the challenge of finding a life/work balance in a professional role, of the constant effort to effectively manage work, family,  friends, wellbeing, interests. I also am personally familiar with  burn out and how to both prevent and recover from it, as well as navigating most professional and personal life transitions.

I have endured and overcome many challenging personal life circumstances that affect us all, making it easier for me to understand and support you through your own life challenges. These include:  both developmental and situational trauma, relationship breakdowns, miscarriage, being a single parent,  redundancy, grief from losses of loved ones, career changes, workplace difficulties, health challenges and family illness.

In addition to qualifications in business, a degree and post graduate in leadership, attending multiple training courses in people management, change management and resilience, I have undertaken significant further training in the Therapeutic Coaching model and am now a qualified, accredited and experienced Therapeutic Coaching practitioner. This formal training is in addition to considerable study in self development, healing modalities and mindfulness and I continue to train in additional therapeutic tools to optimise my value in the therapeutic client relationship.

Having first hand experience of the many challenges life throws at us all, together with my extensive qualifications and training,  I hope ensures you feel that you are in safe, experienced  hands,  as we navigate  your life goals, challenges or aspirations together.

I receive regular supervision and undertake significant continuing personal development,  training and learning on an ongoing basis to increase my expertise and skills.
